The leaves for this tea were harvested first in this year's harvest. The tea has a delicate flavor, a slight sweetness, and a pleasant umami note without a hint of bitterness.
It dissolves completely in cold water and, of course, hot water (temperature 70-80 degrees)
This Macha comes from Uji, a region of Kyoto known as the green tea region.

Matcha is a super food!
It's a source of L-theanine, an amino acid with a stimulating effect, but more like a boost in concentration than a sudden energy surge and unnecessary stimulation. It's no wonder Zen monks favored this tea as a preparation for meditation. Thanks to L-theanine, matcha positively affects memory and creative thinking.
Matcha also contains EGCG catechins (137 times more than regular green tea) – antioxidants that, in addition to their rejuvenating effects, also have anti-cancer, antibacterial, and antiviral properties, as well as antifungal properties.
