The leaves for this tea were picked first in this year's harvest. The tea has a delicate flavor, light sweetness and a pleasant umami flavor without a hint of bitterness.

It dissolves completely in cold water and of course hot water (temperature 70-80 degrees)

This Macha comes from Uji, a region of Kyoto known as the green tea region.

Matcha is a superfood!

It is a source of L-theanine, an amino acid that has a stimulating effect, but to a degree closer to more intense concentration than a sudden energy surge and unnecessary stimulation. No wonder Zen monks liked this tea as a preparation for meditation. Thanks to L-theanine, matcha has a positive effect on memory and creative thinking.

Matcha also contains EGCG catechins (137 times more than regular green tea) – antioxidants that, in addition to their rejuvenating effects, also have anti-cancer, anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties. And anti-fungal properties too 🙂

Catechins also support weight loss, lower glucose and insulin levels, prevent cardiovascular diseases and delay the development of osteoporosis.
